Job Description

St. Francis Parish and School in Sherwood, OR seek a highly organized and self-motivated professional to serve as a full time Development Director. The Development Director is responsible for managing and implementing a comprehensive program which includes annual events, grants, endowment, planned giving and capital campaigns.

The Development Director, as a representative of the parish and school, must possess the ability to build genuine relationships on behalf of St. Francis. Be an effective communicator who can clearly articulate the vision and goals of the parish and school and be a team player that leads others towards a shared purpose.

Qualifications

• Possess Demonstrate computer proficiency with common business programs (e.g., MSOffice) with the ability to master gift planning software such as Crescendo or PG CALC.
• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in communications, finance and/or marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a comparable field
• Have five to eight years of experience in a development position within a complex multi-unit organization (preferably nonprofit) with service orientation preferred.
• Have specific knowledge of Catholic Church organization and procedures; practicing Catholic required
