Youth Ministry (10)
Youth Ministry requires an understanding of the dynamics of evangelization, conversion, the Catechumenate Model & Ecclesial Method. Candidates must enthusiastically communicate the Gospel to youth, teen, and adults and be comfortable working in small groups as well as one on one.
Youth Ministers are asked to assist in coordinating the youth program of a parish, including facilitating events and assisting in faith formation. Fostering discipleship, identifying and developing Catholic leaders, aiding in the religious formation and the spiritual growth of the youth of a parish are all essential functions of the position.
Director of Religious Education (10)
The Director of Religious Education acts as administrator to a parish catechetical program and assist teens in building a solid foundation for adult spirituality, Christian living, ministry and outreach. This person must be able to relate to youth and their parents. Formal knowledge of the Catholic faith is required for the position as well as strong organizational skills.
