Saint Joseph College Seminary is seeking a full time Communications and Social Media Coordinator to develop and implement external communications strategies through use of social media platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
The Coordinator will also be tasked with website development for the College Seminary’s principal and supporting websites, for integration of website and social media efforts. Ideally, the Coordinator will have the experience and background for the continuation and expansion of the College Seminary’s current identity and marketing efforts, including development and production of promotional materials including brochures, posters, and advertising support.
The Coordinator will regularly engage our new media audience, as well as build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key constituents via print media, radio and video.
The Coordinator will work directly with the Vice President in the development and implementation of these strategies, and will assist the Vice President in the conceptualization and rollout of a comprehensive communications plan.
The successful candidate must possess a BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field and have at least three years of experience in managing multiple social media platforms, tracking analytics and email distribution systems preferred. Excellent writing skills; writing samples will be requested.
