Messmer Catholic Schools is an independent (K4-12) Catholic school system with nearly 1600 students on three campuses – Messmer High School, Messmer Preparatory Catholic School and St. Rose and St. Leo Catholic School. We are seeking a Controller for Messmer Catholic Schools.

The Controller’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements; maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs and program budgets and actual expenditures; coordinate all audit activity; assist leadership in the annual budgeting process; oversee all financial, project/program and grant accounting and manage organizational cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. A minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance experience is required. A Bachelors Degree in business, finance or equivalent is required.
