Job Description

Collaborate with Faith Formation Team to provide comprehensive Faith Formation programs for 5th to 8th grade and Middle School Youth Ministry. Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, designing and administering, recruiting, training, supervising paid and volunteer catechists; publicizing programs and communicating with parents about the program’s purpose and focus; develop a campus ministry program at St. Hubert School; and identifying and pursuing activities and programs that reinforce areas of catechetical responsibility.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education and/or Pastoral Ministry or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a catechist, preferably with middle school aged children and families.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Faith Formation (catechesis and evangelization,) and the sacramental practices of the Catholic Church; Roman Catholic Liturgy, traditions and rituals.
• Must take an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
