The Department/Division of Mass Communication is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Communication Arts (full-time, tenure-track). PhD in a relevant discipline and a minimum of five years full-time professional experience in the area of Communication Arts, International Communication, multi- and digital media required.
Background in sociology and anthropology, and demonstrated pedagogical skills a plus. Expected to also teach on the Staten Island campus. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the life of the university by advising students, serving on committees and attending academic and university functions.
