Job Description

The ideal candidate for the next President of Chaminade-Madonna will be:

• A practicing Roman Catholic in good standing, who must be willing to learn and embrace the Marianist charism and is able to implement the Marianist vision of education among our students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni.
•  A proven visionary leader who has demonstrated the ability to formulate, communicate, and implement a long-range strategic plan, with a clear commitment to maintaining high academic standards in a supportive student-centered environment.
• A proven fundraiser and friend raiser for the institution, who will be a passionate spokesperson for Chaminade-Madonna. The President will enthusiastically engage alumni, parents, businesses, community, government, and related stakeholders to seek gifts and grants in order to financially support the vision of the school.
• A collaborative, dynamic, energetic, and visible servant leader, who builds relationships, inspires trust, communicates and engages all stakeholders of Chaminade-Madonna.
• A proven administrator, with a business background who will work with the Board of Trustees, the Principal and senior administration to effectively govern the school and implement the strategic plan, in order to ensure fiscal stability.

Qualifications

The President needs to have a demonstrated capacity for broad institutional leadership and administration. Candidates should have teaching experience (minimum 5 years) and a strong background in K-12 or higher education administration, preferably in Catholic institutions. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, forward-thinking individual who has shown success in building widespread support for an organization through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders. Strong financial management expertise should be accompanied by the ability to execute sound short- and long-term fiscal planning. Candidates should have experience that demonstrates strategic, visionary, and compelling leadership and successful management within a dynamic organization.

Education

An earned bachelor’s degree and advanced degree or equivalent is required.

Compensation

Annual compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. A benefits package including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K Plan, and Paid Time Off will also be provided as part of the compensation package.
