Job Description

Seeking Catholic Youth Ministry Missionaries! Reach Team Members are young adults (18-28) who are authentic in their life of faith, support one another in Christian community and have a passion to evangelize young people.

Who Serves on Reach Teams?

Young adults who serve come from various backgrounds. It could be youth ministry, business, engineering, serving after college graduation, taking a break from college, or sometimes serving before college begins.

What about money?

It takes about $11,000 to keep a Reach Team Member going for the year. Each Team Member is only expected to raise $5000 in sponsorship funds. Sponsorship raised helps provide for team member food, lodging, car insurance, travel, training and monthly stipend. People see clearly the value in investing faith in our young people. Team Members’ home parishes/communities are always both generous and proud to support them.

What’s it like each day on a Reach Team?

Daily Mass, personal prayer, team prayer, prepping and honing ministry skills, driving, sight seeing, spending time with host families, meeting amazing Catholic people all over the country, and of course leading weekly youth & young adult ministry events.

About Reach Youth Ministry

Reach Youth Ministry Teams evangelize young people in the Catholic Parish, School, Camp, Conference, Rally, Bible Study or Youth Group setting. Reach Ministry Teams are trained young adults (18-28 years) who are authentic in their life of faith, support one another in Christian community and have a passion to evangelize young people. Reach Youth Ministry provides Catholic faith experiences that are authentic, relevant and engaging.

The Reach teams are making a difference in the lives of young people all over the country! Reach teams serve, pray, play, and grow in faith together for the Reach ministry year (August – May). It is an exciting and challenging time to grow in faith as they share the Good News with others!
