The role of Advancement is to continue ot strengthen and enhance the future of Seton Keough through meaningful involvement of the community in the school’s mission, vision and strategic plan. This position is responsible for designing and directing all fundraising efforts, all alumni and parent relations activities, all print and electronic communications and all marketing and public relations events.

About Seton Keough High School

• Directs all work related to Admissions, Communications, Alumnae Relations, Marketing and Public Relations
• Supervises the Director of Enrollment Management, Admissions and Marketing Coordinator, Alumnae Outreach Coordinator and an Executive Assistant
• Plans and directs all fundraising efforts, such as the annual and capital campaigns; the endowment and planned giving programs
• Engage, solicit and cultivate donors and enhance donor programs such as the Seton Keough Giving Society
• Recruits members, coaches and leads the Advancement and
• Marketing Committee
• Coordinates all activities related to donors, such as recordkeeping functions and recognition of donors
• Prepares marketing materials and educational opportunities for prospective donors and meets with donors as needed
• Directs the grants management process to ensure timely submission of proposals
• Prepares advancement publications, such as annual fund reports, newsletters and grant proposals
• Develops and implements strategies to incorporate new donors and enlarge the donor base
• Oversees the stewardship of all endowed funds and regularly reports to donors
• Works closely with the Finance Office to prepare financial reports , such as gift and pledge reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related field
• A minimum of five years experience in fundraising, preferably in an educational, religious or non-profit organization
• A minimum of two years management experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and database programs; experience with Raisers Edge is preferred
• Must be able to handle a multiple priorities and demonstrate leadership for staff and volunteers
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  Experience preparing and managing budgets is preferred
