The is seeking a Director of Stewardship and Development. The Director serves as the primary advisor to the Bishop and Vicar General in matters of stewardship and fundraising. Responsible for the management and operation of all programs and services provided by the Stewardship office including the diocesan annual appeal, conducting parish and school capital campaigns, implementing parish stewardship appeals, internal and external grant programs, and planned giving.
Proficient in MS Office, specifically in Excel and Word, and knowledge of Raiser’s Edge fundraising software required. Thorough knowledge of Catholic church fundraising and principals of Christian Stewardship, Catholicism, and structures of the Catholic Church required.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. Minimum of 7 years experience in diocesan or parish fundraising, specifically capital campaigns, stewardship appeals, major gifts, strategic planning, and planned giving, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual, Spanish/English, a plus.
