Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is seeking an Event Coordinator for a large multipurpose Parish and Community Center to plan and organize special events, including parties, wedding receptions, banquets, meetings and conferences. Event Coordinator’s must be able to complete a wide range of activates requiring clear communication, marketing, excellent organizations skills and attention to detail. Hospitality and catering experience is a plus. At least 2 years of experience with office administration and coordinating special events. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publishers, Outlook) and basic knowledge of sound and multi-media equipment.
This position is Full Time, Non-Exempt Salaried, with Benefits and requires evening and weekend hours. Must successfully pass a level II (FBI) criminal history background check and attend Safe Environment Training.
